Hepburn Shire Council has published plans for two specific areas in the centre of Trentham. Trent Creek Reserve is the first one, ideas for which have been circulating and simmering for over ten years. This is the area from Victoria St to High St bordering Bath St to the west. It is essentially a wetland with Trent Creek flowing through the middle. Friends of Trentham Creeks & Reserves
Last October an area of Stoney Ck Reserve was taped off in order to stop mowing of the area following treatment of gorse. An unexpected outcome of this changed mowing regime has been the growth of various native grasses that had not been previously identified. Christmas Wreath Making Workshop

Spring Hill Nursery and Garden is many things at once: a well stocked nursery with a wide range of plants and an experienced team providing old fashioned service and useful advice on plant care and garden design, for our cold climate region. If we don't have the plant you need we will find it.
There is also a working garden to enjoy a stroll and find your inspiration, a cosy cafe offering delicious light snacks and barista coffee, and a gift shop for botanically themed treasures both practical and whimsical. Many of our customers are locals but those who drop in for the first time always say they regret not coming sooner and can't wait to return.
We are part of a dwindling group of nurseries still offering a comprehensive selection of economical Winter bare root trees and roses. Orders for these are taken from January. Owners Cathy and John live on site and welcome you and your well behaved dogs to share their beautiful space. It is truly a DESTINATION LOCATION.
