Come and see the friendly team at the Produce Exchange table.

Last month’s market was a misty, cold morning but thankfully not windy and the sun even shone later in the morn. Good to see lots of people out and about all rugged up with gloves, beanies and warm coats.
Reluctantly, we bid "good bye" to the bountiful produce of Autumn but the robust garden goodies of Winter continue at the swap table. Lots of lovely rhubarb, verdant leafy greens, especially silverbeet, spring onions and plenty of beautiful herbs, potted plants, seeds and lemons, filled our table.
We never know what will turn up at the monthly Produce Exchange, even during mid-Winter. Thank you everyone for your lovely surprises. It’s exciting and fun to meet, swap and share the goodies from your backyard gardens and kitchens. It's important to know where the food we eat comes from, the more local the better ... and we're helping to reduce our carbon footprint on the Earth.
We're looking forward to seeing you at the swap table (9.30 - 11.30am) - third Saturday of the month at the Trentham Farmers' Market 9.00am - 1.00pm.

Cheers and all the best from the Produce Exchange team
