Trentham Sustainability Group (TSG)

Trentham Sustainability Group (TSG) is made up of local residents taking positive action to reduce the impact of climate change and caring for our natural environment.

The TSG recently held their AGM on Friday 13 March 2026.

A recent Strategy Day focused on several themes:

• Sowing, growing a better life;

• Keeping our community fire safe - seeking expert advice about individual and town risk assessments and mitigation strategies;

• A stitch in time reduces landfill – including Fashion Swap Days & the Repair Café.

In 2026, TSG’s Waste & Resource Recovery focus area is also exploring the feasibility of a soft plastics collection bin. Read more in the March Trumpet.
